DESCRIPTION:The Mpumalanga Province is proud to announce the upcoming launch of Zikhala Kanjani\, a critical initiative aimed at empowering Adolescents and Young People (AYP)\, particularly Adolescent Girls and Young Women (AGYW)\, who are disproportionately impacted by HIV & AIDS. The launch of Zikhala Kanjani is part of the province’s broader Provincial Implementation Plan (PIP)\, which seeks to position AYP at the forefront of the HIV & AIDS response while addressing other key social challenges. \n\n\n\nWhy Zikhala Kanjani?In South Africa\, AYP account for a significant portion of People Living with HIV (PLHIV) and are also at the highest risk of facing unemployment\, unplanned pregnancies\, and Gender-Based Violence and Femicide (GBVF).
